B&B The Silver Eel - Strokestown

This place is in an amazing spot right by the lake and offers a peaceful atmosphere.

Well, it was a such great stay for one night. The breakfast was sensational and offered plenty of reasonably priced food. It was a French building, the rooms where huge and incredibly spacious.

Thanks very much for a very relaxing stay for one night. It offers amazing and gorgeous location short walk to the upstairs private restaurant, Strokestown for a conference at Strokestown Park and the ferry running late.

We enjoyed our stay at the Silver Eel, where we spent a wonderful night. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food selection was fantastic. The location is excellent, especially with the nearby pub. It was also a convenient 15-minute drive to Preston Docks.

Everything about this friendly family run hotel was excellent. The breakfast was marvellous and excellent for what was on offer with a banana and fruit salad, for example. The property was in a favourable location next to bar restaurant, and Strokestown. Also, main attraction such as Grapeland Water Park was 2 miles from this hotel. I've had a such wonderful stay for two nights.

I truly enjoyed my one-night stay at B&B the Silver Eel. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made me feel right at home. The location is stunning, with a short walk to a shop, the river, and the lake where the boat traffic goes by on the River Shannon, along with a lovely ferry. The views were just beautiful. it's only a 15-minute drive from Preston Docks, which is very convenient. The restaurant served excellent food, making the overall experience delightful.

The hotel's location was wonderful, next to the river and lake. . I booked a neat twin room with views over the lough and a balcony. I had a relaxing stay for one night at B&B the Silver Eel in Strokestown. the hotel is situated in a beautiful location, right next to the river and lake. I also enjoyed the downstairs bar/restaurant and had a chance to try some drinks at restaurant Vesper Bar, which is just a 10-minute walk away. the twin room I booked was clean and had lovely views overlooking the lough.

The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. the lakeside location was stunning. There is a variety of restaurants nearby, like Harvest by Roy Ellamar, which is only a 20-minute walk away.

The rooms feature a lovely large verandah, along with convenient amenities like a shower and tea/coffee. The location is fantastic, right beside the Shannon River. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
